Production duo and friends of the blog, Its Overture just sent me a remix of A Tribe Called Quest‘s classic “Steve Biko (Stir It Up).” Its Overture says of the remix “Bolstered by a Moombahton bump and a classic 90’s house sample, we tried to pay homage to the iconic horns, hooks and lyrics of ‘Steve Biko’ while reconfiguring them into something new.” It sounds pretty banging.
