On his latest remix, Manu El Chino takes on ABBA‘s classic “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!.” The remix has a classic 80s post-disco feel, reminiscent of Laid Back’s “White Horse.” Gone is the iconic flute line, replaced with creeping synth bass. The chopped up chorus vocals have a nice call-and-response effect to them. It is hard to improve upon the original, but the remix definitely does it justice.
