Los Angeles duo, able machines release their debut album Pathological on April 23rd. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the latest single from the album, “Can You Keep A Secret.”
The track is steeped in 80s retro-future vibes with its running synth bass and driving electronic drums. Songwriter, Tay Côlieé voice lilts over the top with her confessional lyrics about wanting to be more than friends. It all sounds somewhere between M83 and Robyn to me. It is dark yet danceable and catchy. What more could you want?
