Toronto singer, Aunty Social released her latest EP, The Day My Brain Broke back in March. Slowly she has been releasing remixes of the songs on the album. The latest is for the EP’s opening track, “Trying” from New York City’s Porches. The original plays with space and vastness but Porches does a makeover employing droning strings, vocal manipulation, and bouncy 80s synth bass. The lush synth pop remixes works wonders with Aunty Social’s emotive vocals.
