Pittsburgh’s Balloon Ride Fantasy are preparing their third release, the six-song EP BRF. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere their new single, “Arcadia.” The track is arena-size synth rock with fantasy/fiction lyrics. Helmed by lead singer/producer Chris Olszewski, his voice plus the comic book lyrics are reminiscent of Coheed and Cambria but with layers of synths replacing the guitars. The earworm of a chorus shows the band’s clear pop sensibility and a searing keyboard solo outro really solidifies the “Arcadia.”
“Arcadia” will be on the Balloon Ride Fantasy’s new EP BRF which will be self-released on July 20th.
