So I can’t lie, I haven’t listened to much of the new Beyonce music that came out. But I did happen to stumble onto another classic house track this time as a remix of “Formation” by Laibert. Based out of Italy at the modest age of 19 Laibert has genuinely taken it back to the old school with this one. Beyonce’s voice works so well with this type of music that I might actually enjoy it more then the original. Laibert keeps the focus on all things that make house music great. The piano is grooving, there’s pads chilling underneath, some quick vocal chops and a steady drum beat that brings it all together. Overall its a super dope remix that is club worthy on so many levels, it’s definitely going to be in my pregame playlist.
