Rapper, Bobby J From Rockaway teamed up with drummer, Daru Jones for the new collaborative album, One Mic & Drum. Single, “Take It Personal” gets a remix from the legendary DJ, Rob Swift. The original is an homage to Gang Starr’s classic track of the same name, Swift takes the tribute to another level with his rework. With his precise cuts and mixing of samples, the remix still bares some resemblance to the original but Swift real takes ownership of the track.
