When you think of some of the best witchy voices in music right now like Adrianne Lenker of Big Thief, CocoRosie, and FKA Twigs, you might have to add London-based Circe to that list. She just released her new single, “Ten Girls.” Inspired by Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale, the track paints a dystopian world view over dark synths and sharp drums but it is Circe’s distinct voice that makes the real impact.
