NYC beatmaker, Conrad Clifton will release his album, IS IT YOU: Beat Tape (Full Circle) on February 28th. The latest single from the album is “dreambutdontsleep.” An imaginative composition of quickly cut string samples and other soul loops, the track changes tempos and time signatures at the drop of a hat but it never seems that awkward. “dreambutdontsleep” really shows a turntablist at his peak creative form.
