The Criticals “Absinthe”

Nashville duo, The Criticals just released their new single, “Absinthe.” The story behind the song is simple, the band says “written and self produced with Reaper after a long night of drinking Absinthe on Lower Broadway in Nashville.” So what does an absinthe fueled jam sound like? In this case, it sounds like the Strokes playing disco. I was expecting something a little more Moulin Rouge! but “Absinthe” still does the trick.

Not.. they got this from Ray who wrote it in Nashville back in 1987. I’m thinking one of these guys is his or one of his band members son. When I left they were still working on it and others
