Cursive “Life Savings”

When we talked to Cursive front man, Tim Kasher last year, he said Cursive was “planning on being somewhat active in 2018, though we can’t say just yet what that will entail.” Now we know what that will entail. Cursive recently announced a new album called Vitriola to be released on October 5th. The album’s lead single is “Life Savings.” As the album title suggests, the song is full of vitriol as Kasher sings “there is no future only money, money” over the chugging guitars. With a fair amount of dissonance and some truly anthemic parts, the song is classic Cursive.
