It has been three years since the Dead Milkmen released their Welcome to the End of the World EP. While the world has come much closer to ending in recent months, the Milkmen return with a limited-edition, hand-numbered 7” for their cover of Heaven 17’s classic anti-fascism anthem “(We Don’t Need This) Fascist Groove Thang.” The B-side features a new original song, “A Complicated Faith.” With a new wave groove, the track sounds more like the Cure than the snotty punk the Dead Milkmen are known for. The lyrics are classically sardonic with a commentary on the Republican party.
