Eljay is back at it again with an ambient sexy R&B inspired track simply titled “U.” The intro is filled with emotion, rain fall, and birds in the distance before the piano takes over transitioning to the verse. The track builds slowly as the vocals and piano have more layers added on until a single drum hit takes you into the drop filled with slow chord swells, heavy brass, and some sweet vocal chops. The drum work on this one is quite remarkable, I love the originality of the fills and breaks. The overall ambient feeling I would normally say clashes as the tails ring out but with this track it’s definitely a creative choice which I find really interesting. It’s no easy feat creating this type of vibe.
