For the latest remix of her track “Burn,” Ellie Goulding taps British producer Mat Zo. Zo essentially does the job of four producer. The first verse is given a hand-clapping house beat with plenty of vocal manipulation before a progressive house breakdown of ethereal synths. Then comes the drop which ushers in a verse that sounds like it could be off Daft Punk‘s Random Access Memories. Another progressive house breakdown brings the track to a heavier electro outro with plenty of chopped and manipulate vocals. It caps off an interesting listen to say the least.
