Singer/songwriter Camila Recchio and producer and multi-instrumentalist Kush Mody began Feed the Biirds in 2018 as an experiment. Their latest single, “So I Go” shows an experiment going very well. The neo-soul verses are reminiscent of Portugal. the Man‘s “Feel It Still” but the track gives way to a post-chorus that takes it to the club. The deep synth horns and trap drums after the drop would sound more at home with NGHTMRE but give “So I Go” an esoteric tilt to avoid sounding like a Mark Ronson wannabe.
