London band, Femegades are preparing to release their debut EP in September. The latest single from the album is “Pornsick.” Mixing elements of punk and alternative rock, the track is reminiscent of bands like The Lunachicks or Veruca Salt but with a more obvious sociopolitical tilt. With lyrics about consent and male violence, the track is an indictment about the normalization of some aspects of the porn industry. It is a little think piece wrapped up in a badass rock song.
