Newcastle-upon-Tyne’s Fever Days recently released their third single, “Hard Luck.” The chorus features guitars that sound straight out of the Clash‘ “London Calling” but the verses rely on wall-of-synth production and a glitchy pop beat. Taken separately, the two parts hardly sound like they belong in the same song but somehow Fever Days makes it work.
