The Four Owls recently released their third studio album, Nocturnal Instinct. The latest single from the album is “Air Strike,” perhaps the group’s most Wu-Tang-inspired track yet. With raw drums and high pass-filtered choral ahhhs, the beat sounds like something RZA would have cooked up in the 90s. The British accents are what really give it away that this isn’t a classic NYC posse cut, although guesting rapping R.A. The Rugged Man definitely help “Air Strike” to be the most New York song made outside of the United States.
