British soul singer, Gabriella Cilmi just dropped her cover of Kanye West‘s “Blood on The Leaves.” It is interesting to hear a take on the song without Kanye’s production. It forces you to listen to two things: the lyrics and Cilmi’s voice. The lyrics are still pretty bad but Cilmi’s emotive vocals make them feel deeper than they really are.
