Yes, the first time I read about this collaboration I thought it was funk god, George ClInton that was teaming up with 311‘s Nick Hexum. While that dream collaboration will have to wait for another day, vaporwave pioneer George Clanton and Nick Hexum is pretty good as substitute. Over the lush pulsating synth backdrop, Hexum does his best “Amber”-esque crooning. While the summer will see plenty of protesting, “Aurora Summer” can be played poolside while you relax and refuel.
