Premiere: Giant Peach “Love Your Void” (Official Music Video)

What started off as a bedroom pop project between Frances Chang and Mike Naideau, Giant Peach has grown into a full-fledged band. Their latest offering, But You Made Me Such A Beautiful Thing, was released in June. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the video for their new single, “Love Your Void.”

“Love Your Void” is not your typical single. At over nine minutes, it is long but it doesn’t necessarily feel it. The song is energetic guitar-driven rock that sounds somewhere between You In Reverse-era Built to Spill and the grungier side of Dinosaur Jr.

The video mostly focuses on Frances Chang at the beach. She’s not there playing volleyball and tanning, its a little moodier than that. With crashing waves, out of focus camera shots, and a crab, the video plays with different elements to really bring the void to life.
