Austin-based songstress, Graciela Serena is preparing to release her new album, Fighting with Me and You on April 7th. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the single “Earthquake.”
Serena describes the song as “all about the intoxicating thrill of a chaotic relationship. It’s brings forward the lusty enchantment parts of ourselves because they are part of the human experience and don’t always need to be shamed.” That thrill comes out in her sultry vocals over the breathy pop production. Some reverbed guitar reminiscent of Chris Isaak‘s “Wicked Games” adds to the sexy, languid feel.
