Phoenix, AZ’s Herbert Walker recently released their single, “50/50.” A mixture of hypnogogic pop and slacker rock, the track sounds like Jim Morrison laying down vocals over a lost Pavement instrumental produced by Ariel Pink. The combination of angular guitars and warm AM radio production is an unusual one but it makes for an interesting and worthwhile listen.
