In February of 2022, Home Counties will release their EP, In A Middle English Town via Alcopop! Records. The lead single from the album is “The Home Counties.” Mixing angular guitars with wonky synth flourishes, the song walks the line between post-punk and new wave. It reminds me of artists like early XTC or Missing Persons.
