For his latest remix, New York City producer N2N takes on Jay Z and Linkin Park‘s “Numb/Encore” mashup. It is an interesting quandary attempting to remix a mashup but N2N really swings for the fences trying to turn the track into a tropical jam. Unsurprisingly, Jay-Z’s versatile verses sound perfectly fine over a chill synth pop instrumental but the Linkin Park part is the real challenge. For his part, N2N rises to it creating an emotional crescendo for Chester Bennington’s verse without losing the tropical feel.
