Floridian rapper, Jean~Baptiste released his single, “Better Off” at the tail end of last year. The track, produced by Zac Vaughn, features a gorgeous sped-up soul sample beat which Baptiste spits about “emotional hardship that a toxic relationship can cause someone.” It is a nice mix of more emotional lyrics with a harder hitting flow like the perfect balance of J Cole and Kendrick Lamar.
