Premiere: Jeweler “Savior Complex”

Minneapolis band, Jeweler are preparing to release their debut album, Tiny Circles on June 11th. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the latest single from the record, “Savior Complex.”

Mixing elements of shoegaze and post-rock, the track is reminiscent of bands like Broken Social Scene or Do Make Say Think. Lead singer/songwriter, Michael Voller describes the tracks as “inspired by some Franz Kafka short stories I was reading at the time.” He continues “it’s about a lot of things but it mostly deals with someone who goes out of their way to do things for others without being asked and then expects to be rewarded for it in return.”
