Los Angeles rapper, Jez Dior just dropped the second single from his upcoming project. The track is called “Old No. 7” and it features G-Eazy. “Old No. 7” finds the self-proclaimed “grunge rap” artist really embracing his genre. Producer Danny Score creates an instrumental that sounds like 90s Seven Mary Three. Jez and G-Eazy takes the dark instrumental and creates introspective verses dealing with addictions to various vices. On the 20th anniversary of grunge’s heyday, it is nice to see someone embracing the genre’s themes and sounds so fully.
