After the horrendousness that was Jessie J, Taio Cruz and Tinie Tempah doing “You Should Be Dancin'” at the Olympic closing ceremonies, I thought I never wanted to hear another Bee Gees cover again. Then Jhameel just sent me his new take on “Stayin’ Alive” and I’m okay with Bee Gees’ covers again. He does not try to recreate the disco feel of the original but instead gives the track a cool pop take that sounds like Cut Copy remixing Michael Jackson.
