K.I.N.G. the MC just dropped his new single, “Glory.” Despite being from Nashville, the track is reminiscent of Chicago emcees like Be-era Common or early Kanye with the sped-up soul beat and an uplifting messaging. While the song has a serious tone, K.I.N.G. still manages to throw in some great wordplay like my favorite: “hopin to steal my drive like the bullies on Little Rascals.”
