Nashville native, katie MAC just released her new single, “Not My Ex.” While the hyper-pop track is catchy, the lyrics are the real standout. Katie said “I wrote ‘Not My Ex’ after a brutal heartbreak that happened this past year. The worst part was that person wasn’t even ‘technically’ my boyfriend.” The plight of heartache from an undefined relationship feels relatable even if some of the lyrics are very specific and hyper personal.
