In anticipation of Kendrick Lamar‘s debut album dropping soon, NYC production duo, Its Overture cooked up a remix to the album’s Dr. Dre-assisted first single “The Recipe.” Its Overture explains they were inspired by the track’s sampling of Twin Sister‘s “Meet The Frownies” and decided to flip it themselves. It does not quite have the same hip hop feel but its a solid dance track.
