New Zealand producer K+Lab teams up with Los Angeles’ Ahee for the new single, “Be This Funk.” Beginning with a guitar riff similar to the Ting Tings’ “Shut Up and Let Me Go,” the track sounds like it is destined to be a disco throwback with computerized vocals and flute flourishes. That changes after the first drop which enters elements of dubstep and future bass to create a modern dancefloor banger.
