Los Angeles-based production legend, Wolfgang Gartner just dropped his remix of fellow Californian, Knock2‘s single “REWiND.” If not intimately familiar with the original, it is hard to pick up exactly how it and the remix is related. The remix doesn’t use most of the same vocal samples as the original nor does it feature the same melody. It does follow the same structure though so you can match up what sounds are replacing what. It is an interesting glitchy take on the bass heavy original.
