I imagine it has to be hard being a female singer in Britain nowadays. Trying to emerge from the same scene that produced the late Amy Winehouse and Adele can not be easy but new artist, Laura Welsh will try. Her new track’s “Hollow Drum” has the stripped down arrangement of Adele’s “Someone Like You” but her voice will inevitably be compared to fellow British singer, Florence (who is ironically also a Welsh [or a Welch rather]).
