New Jersey rapper, Letsgetittox was in the middle of recording his new album, Anonymous Accounts when the covid-19 outbreak shut down the studio. He admits that “My Weight Up” wasn’t going to be released as a single in his original plan but since its uncertain when he can return to recording, the song is being released. “My Weight Up” doesn’t not sound like a single. With a piano-filled trap beat produced by Young Shun, Letsgetittox spits a steady flow about growing his rap career. The vibrato in his lyrics and the repetitive but catchy chorus make for a solid ear worm.
