Austin, TX band, Linen Closet are preparing to release their self-titled album on October 19th. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere their new single, “Act IV.” The song is as heady as it is catchy. The guitar mixes arpeggios with staccato riffs making it sound somewhere between Cap’n Jazz and Vampire Weekend while lead singer/songwriter, Adam Hilton commands the track with his austere voice and quirky lyrics. As “Act IV” develops, other instruments add and build the song into a satisfying but noisy climax.
