New York four-piece Loose Buttons are preparing to release their second album, What’s On Outside on October 22nd. The latest single from the album is “Window Seat (Freak You Out).” A mixture of heartland rock, shoegaze and glam, the track sounds somewhere between Sam’s Town-era The Killers and Arctic Monkeys. There are some nice bonuses in the song as well like xylophone doubling the chorus guitar riff, some sitar flourishes and a mid-song key change. “Window Seat (Freak You Out)” keeps you guessing so you don’t just get lost in the sea of droning guitars.
