Maino, perhaps most famous for his 2009 singles “Hi Hater” and “All the Above,” is still a rapper. On his star-studded new track, “Dreamer,” he compares himself to “Vince Carter on the fast break/Marley on his last take/Puff when he had Ma$e.” Perhaps this brag would have made more sense at the turn of this decade when Maino seemed more relevant but there is no arguing that “Dreamer” is a comeback in the making. Featuring French Montana, B.o.B and Tweezie, Maino could be making a dream of a platinum plaque into a realities.
