Canadian new wave group, Men Without Hats are best known for their lone top 10 hit, 1983’s “The Safety Dance.” After breaking up in 1992, the group reunited in 2010 and are preparing to release their new album, Love in the Age of War. The album’s first single is “Head Above Water.” The track has a pretty definitive retro-80s song which will probably be a sigh of relief to some hardcore fans. To the modern music listener though, it sounds a little kitschy.
