After fronting the heavy metal band, Meldrum, and then releasing two avant-garde pop albums, Moa Holmsten returns with an album of Bruce Springsteen covers. The album called Bruised Arms & Broken Rhythm will be out December 11th. Surviving the Golden Age is pleased to premiere the lead single from the album “You’re Missing.” Taken from The Rising album, Holmsten’s cover builds plenty of pathos with her timid delivery and sparse but reverbed instrumentation. Its a bit avant garde but still packs the Americana punch of the Boss.
