Helsinki-based band, moshimoshi released their single, “Soon” at the tail end of 2022. The track shows off complex guitar work similar to emo-luminaries like Cap’n Jazz or American Football mixed with shredded screamed vocals a la Refused. While fusing emo, hardcore, and punk is nothing new, moshimoshi sounds better and more unique than emocore or other such subgenres.
