Multimagic “The Tide”

Cincinnati band, Multimagic are preparing to release their debut LP, Manic Daze on September 4th via Soul Step Records. The latest single from the album is “The Tide,” a bouncy synth-pop track reminiscent of bands like Grouplove or the Anniversary. Despite the fun, shout-along nature of the song, lead singer/songwriter, Coran Stetter said the song was “inspired in part by Hillary Clinton’s devastating 2016 presidential election loss to Donald Trump.” So when Stetter sings “I fight the tide,” it is an attempt to inspire the disenchanted and apathetic.
