When 2011 came to a close, I thought it meant that I would not have to listen to any more attempts to remix “Video Games.” I was wrong. To Krush‘ credit, his take on the Lana Del Rey track is the first time I have seen it successfully turned into a dance track. He does not simply add drums under the track, he creates synth parts that enhance the vocals and create its own atmosphere. It sounds great until a completely unwarranted dubstep breakdown.
