Nor’easter “Lemonade”

Four years ago, Ruston, Louisiana quartet, Nor’easter wrote four songs before going off to college. This past Spring, they got back together to record the tracks. Lead single, “Lemonade” doesn’t show a band stuck nearly half-a-decade in the past. Instead it shows a band steeped in influences much older than that. With dueling guitar arpeggios over mostly rimshot drums, the track is reminiscent of early work by American Football or Cap’n Jazz. It feels more steadfastly emo than most of the modern emo revival, perfect for the purists out there.
