If you have ever been told that “you’re such a fucking mess” as pleasantly as in Ornament & Crime‘s new single, I would like to know. “You’re A Mess,” a title which wisely omits the profanity used in the lyrics, mixes heavily reberbed guitars with droning synths and a mid-tempo dance beat. The dreamy male/female vocals feel warm and inviting even if they are telling you “you’re such a fucking mess.” Sometimes the truth hurts but not when its delivered like this.
