Pacing “The Family”

Pittsburgh’s Pacing is preparing to release their new album, Hatemail later this year. The latest single from the album is “The Family.” Loosely based on the young men of the Sopranos, the song is about “a desperate young mafia-aspirant who wants to be a big shot, but can’t get people to take him seriously.” With tongue firmly planted in cheek, the track mixes elements of indie rock and folk with a 60s girl group-esque backing choir.
