Johannes Heine, formerly of A Yawn Worth Yelling, just released his first solo EP as Puppy Feet. The album’s latest single “Pretty Girl.” Featuring crunchy distorted guitars, driving drums, and reverbed vocals, you can hear elements of emo, surf, and pop punk on the track. It sounds somewhere between Wavves and New Found Glory; my high school self is very happy with that combo.
