Rebecca Ferguson, the British soulstress not the Swedish actress, teamed up with the legendary Nile Rodgers for her new single, “No Words Needed.” With a classic pop-soul sound, the track is reminiscent of Rodgers’ work in the 80s with Diana Ross or Sister Sledge. Much like Rodgers himself, there are some new tricks in the song like the euphoric hand-clapped choir a cappella towards the close of the track.
