Cardiff band, Safari Gold are preparing to release their debut full-length this year. Having already released two single from the upcoming album, Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the third, “Breakout.” With lush synth strings and light guitar arpeggios, the track is reminiscent of artists like the 1975 or a male-fronted Chvrches. The track which lead singer Danny Owen describes as being about “the struggle of not getting drawn into the human sense of ownership and entitlement” is closed out with a verse from New York rapper, Snny. The introspective verse that brings a unique flare to the track.
Although Safari Gold have not set a release date yet for their debut album, it is definitely one to watch out for.
